CATALOG - Finding Books

›Keyword Search - Keyword searching is very flexible.  Enter one or two key words on your topic. You may use your own terminology and combine search terms to focus your search.  Example: Constitution and Federalism. 

›Subject Search - In a Subject search, you will be using the subject headings established by the Library of Congress to locate materials on your topic.  

›Didn't find enough books at NVC?  Change the search from Northwest Vista College to ALL LIBRARIES. With a TexShare card you may go to any other Alamo College libraries and check out books. Other local academic libraries honor this card. You may also ask a Reference Librarian to have the books sent over and you may pick them up at the NVC Library. Just remember -  this takes a minimum of 2 business days.
