COVID-19 and Accessing Library Resources and Services

While classes are held remotely, the NVC Library is always available! You can access articles, eBooks, eAudiobooks, & eMagazines for FREE through our online platforms. Feel free to use one of our many methods to contact us.

EBSCO Faculty Select Search

EBSCO is offering a simplified version of Faculty Select that includes access to OER material as well as the option to discover more than 225,000 DRM-free EBSCO eBooks in one place, available at no charge for faculty to use through June 30, 2020.

Faculty can find open educational resources by doing a search and then using the check boxes to the left side of the page to limit to only OER.

The DRM-free books are not all available online as openly licensed, however but if you see a DRM-free title that you would like the library to purchase for your course please contact the library at

The library will continue to serve employees by providing online access to the digital collections/databases, online learning resources, and one-on-one remote assistance.

You can access these resources from the NVC Library homepage.
