Welcome!

Welcome to the EDUC 1300 Lifelong Learning Guide!

This guide is for EDUC 1300 students working on Unit #2: Lifelong Learning.  Below are the learning objectives that you’ll be focusing on.

Learning Objectives:

  • EDUC 1300 Learning Objective #2: Students will be able to identify and apply effective learning strategies.

Unit 2 Essential Questions:

  • How can I study more effectively and efficiently to make learning stick?

As a college student, you will be asked to complete assignments using a variety of resources and information.   Some of these resources you may be familiar with, for example, a book or magazine.

However, what about trade publications or peer-reviewed articles? And what does it mean when your professor asks you to evaluate your resources for credibility?

Working with new types of resources may sound intimidating, which can lead to anxiety or procrastination.

But fear not! This guide is here to help you get started.

And if you have any questions along the way, know that the NVC Library is here to help you with research.
