Northwest Vista College Library does not sell or rent textbooks or course materials.

What Are Course Reserves?

Course reserves are items (textbooks, books, DVDs, articles, etc.) that instructors provide to the library for students to check-out. Course reserves are in-library use only (they cannot be taken out of the library) and can be checked out for 2 hours.  

Details:

  • Not all textbooks are available as a course reserve. Check our online catalog or stop by the circulation desk to see if your textbook is available.
  • Textbooks/Course Reserves are for in library use only. 
  • Textbooks cannot be loaned out less than 30 minutes before closing.
  • Overdue fees are charged for items returned late.
  • Removing Course Reserves from the library may result in penalties including fines, suspension of borrowing privileges, and student holds.

Place your class materials on Course Reserve.
